..::Keep An Eye On This Album::..

So it seems Hello!Project will be releasing another album which might catch my interest just as much as Platinum 9 DISC and Akogare MY STAR did. Browsing Hello-Online a couple of while ago, I noticed an album which is scheduled to be released on July 15th 2009. The album, entitled “Chanpuru 1~Happy Marriage Song Cover Shuu~” is a cover album just like Morning Musume’s 2008 “Cover Me Cover You” or something (I didn’t get that album). I’ve been thinking of leaving this one out too, but looking at the tracklist provided by Hello-Online, I knew I couldn’t deny the groups/singers featured in this album.

First we have High-King, a unit which, to me, is a perfect combination of my three favourite unit in H!P It combines all three leaders of Morning Musume (Ai-chan), Berryz Kobo (Captain) and C-ute (Maimi). Plus, mischievious cat Reinya is also there along with Shugo Chara Eggs’ (or S/mileage’s) Maeda Yuuka. Cinderella/Complex and Kioku no Meiro are superb, so I expect they will be making some positive efforts with Diamonds.

Next is Aa!!!!!!! A really cute unit. First Kiss has both nice song and pv, until today I never get bored listening to Airi’s cute, young voice. It’ll be great to have this group reunited after years of separation. Miya and Airi are currently doing great together in Buono, so let’s see if adding Reinya will be adding the spice or otherwise…

Besides those groups, there’re ZYX-α, Pucchimoni V, Shin Minimoni, Tanpopo # and Zoku･Biyuuden which are quite familiar to H!P’s loyal fans. As for me, I haven’t listened to the first generation of these groups before (ZYX, Pucchimoni, Minimoni, Tanpopo and Biyuuden) so I could just hope for nice songs from them. This’ll be a nice opportunity for me to hear more from Linlin and Fukuda Kanon as both of them (along with another currently-unknown-member) will be teaming up in Shin Minimoni. Plus, Linlin even get a solo song- For You… To bad they didn’t treat the same to Junjun (which I prefer more over Linlin), instead she gets to team up with another 8th gen Mitsii, Sayu and Koha. I’m glad that Ai-chan gets a solo here, and that goes the same to Reinya. Too bad Eri didn’t get one (again after Kataomoin no Owari ni) but she will be singing Mamotte Agetai with her close friend, Risa. Besides that, there’s Manoeri who surfaces a bit here and there together with Berryz Kobo in a song and another with C-ute.

So it seems that this is simply an album full of surprises as there are lots of ‘rebirths’ in here which could cause various expectations in H!P fandom. Are they just one-shot project? Are they the new faces of Hello!Project? Will the girls be appearing in more than one group? Will the new units be releasing singles? Ooo… I like that to happen! :)
