..::Our Sweet Sister Turns 27::..

Our beloved Iida Kaori has turned 27 today! She was one of the first Musume I had known when I watched Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari. I always look Kaorin as one of the reliable big sister of the group. If Yossie is the help-you-beat-those-bullies type of sister, Kaorin would be the let-me-cheer-you-up type of sister. She is really feminine looking (sooo unlike Yossie!), except when she first joined the group.

Some of her best PVs are like Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari and The Manpower. The Manpower was better, coz she’s wearing that white Greek-like outfit, which really suits her (and also Konkon). After seven years and four months of being a Musume, she finally graduated (sadly) on 30th January 2005. Up until now, she only has two of her own singles, Aegekai ni Dakarete and Door no Mukou de Bell ga Natteta. I’m sorry to say this, but I haven’t listened to any of her singles yet. Anyway, after getting married to Kenji, an ex-7House member and a baby boy, she finally returned to her entertainment world when performing in Cool Earth Ambassador 2008 on the last 7th July 2008.

Last year, Morning Musume had celebrated their 10th anniversary. Kaorin had teamed-up with Goto, Risa, Natsumi and Koha-chan to form a group named Morning Musume Tanjou 10nen Kinentai. One of their single, Itoshii Tomoe was the best. I’m happy that they are the one who were given this song, coz it really suits them. Here’s the PV.
