..::Colourful Kimonos::..

2008 July 19

These photos really caught my attention when I first saw them. I do love Japanese girls wearing kimono. They often look kinda seducing when wearing them. As for the musumes, well…

…Ai-chan looks cute with this kimono. Yellow suits her but the blue flowers at the bottom kinda inappropriate. I love the writing at the top right corner of the photo, coz there’s a shadow of flower behind it…

…Risa wears one of my favourite colour, red. Its really striking but matched perfectly with the pink + white flowers. Her slippers is nice too. Notice the cute character at the bottom left corner? Isn’t it cute? (^o^)

…As usual, Sayu with her pinkies. She really loves pink, doesn’t she? Anyway, surprisingly this time the pink doesn’t looked distracting to me. She looked like an ice-cream of vanilla mixed with raspberry flavour if you ask me. Her pose is kinda cute too. What is that drawing? Is it a cat?

…ERRIIII!!! Owh, she’s so cute, with that not-overreacting smile. Too bad, her kimono is not as good as she look. The flowers are too big, it reminds me of my mother’s kebaya (a common Malaysian clothings). Hey, hey. Have a look at the bottom left corner. Its a turtsy turtle! Owh, sooo cute!

…If Eri’s the cute turtle, then Reinya is the mischievous cat in the group. The colour of this kimono is really amazing. As if you’re looking into the sky late at night, and found it filled with sparkling stars and shooting stars. I think this is one of the best kimono I’ve ever seen. Also, purple doesn’t appeal me much, so its kinda surprising for me to love this one.

…Its the ace of the group, Koha-chan with my favourite colour of all- orange! She has that too-happy smile with her as usual. Erm, I think this orange wasn’t that good with those blue flowers. This kimono looks like a joke. This orange is too bright, I guess. Anyway, she really used the whole box for drawing that big smile of hers.

…Mitsii is getting good everytime I see her. She’s so young, yet talented. If I’m about to rank the Musumes, Mitsii will be somewhere in the top five by now, and I’m sure she’ll be getting better and better in the future. Now, about her kimono, hers is somewhat similar to Eri, but her colour is softer. This time, the flower match the kimono, although its still kinda big. (0_0′) I’ve just notice, is that an apricot or something? What’s that got to do with her?

…Junjun’s kimono is the best among the members, honestly. I think this is how a kimono should really look like. The colour is not too bright, instead it is cooler. The colour of blue and white matches perfectly. Her hair is nice and everything. This colour reminds me of the scene in Final Fantasy X where Yuna and Tidus were together in the lake with the theme song, Suteki Dane played. The only problem with Junjun’s photo is her signature. It was too simple.

…Last but not least, Linlin. I’m sorry to say this, but I’m starting to like Junjun more than Linlin. Still, she looks cute in this photo, probably because of her hair. The combination of blue, white and purple is good. Also, her signature was less interesting too. Does Chinese always have simple signatures?

    I like JunJun and Reina’s kimono the most. As for the signatures, my opinion is that Sayumi’s is a bunny as a reference to Usa-Chan Peace. Eri’s is a turtle because Kame means turtle and her last/family name is Kamei? Aika’s is a strawberry because she really likes them or something, according to those Pocket Morning Q/A things that they do every week. But that’s just my impression of the signatures! All of the girls look really nice here.

    Yes, they all do. Hmm, I really miss them. When will a new single release by them?
